As an Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive accounting services. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing client relationships, and providing strategic advice tailored to each client’s needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns
  • Liaise with clients to understand their financial goals and provide personalised advice
  • Support the development of junior staff and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and other business reports
  • Assist with audits when required

The Candidate

We are seeking an ACA or ACCA-qualified accountant who brings valuable experience gained within an accountancy practice. This role calls for someone who communicates effortlessly and prioritises client relationships, while also demonstrating proficiency in accounting software. You’ll thrive working autonomously and will also enjoy contributing to our client’s collaborative, supportive team environment.


Remuneration 

  • Salary: £negotiable per annum depending on experience
  • Bonus: Annual bonus
  • Holidays: 24 plus statutory days
  • Hours: 8.45am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
  • Other Benefits: 5 days paid sick leave (annually), can also be allocated towards caring for sick dependants
